Boujaad Handwoven Moroccan Rugs

Natural wool fibres and dyes made from the local vegetation allow Boujaad rugs to show off an array of colours. Vibrant reds, oranges, purples and pinks to some more subtle washed tones provide the backdrop to the women's tribal markings and symbols.

Nestled between the Middle Atlas Mountains and the Atlantic Ocean, the Berber women of Haouz still weave Boujaad Moroccan rugs using traditional methods.
